This is the old Pine Ridge school building from Altman Rd in Gray Ga that was moved to the old Clinton historic district. It has been painted upon new siding where needed, with a new tin roof.
Front view of School
This is the front entrance to the school, restored and painted. The only original wood is at the first floor level. All other wood has been replaced. An old photo from 1979 in the Macon Telegraph shows the school all boarded up, with only one window to the left. The original school may have had two windows because light was provided by the sun in the old days. However, the interior panelling did not show any breaks in it where a window would have been.
