I'm just chatting with my friend BZ at our show. We live in the country near Valdosta, GA and we invite our tractor loving friends to come spend the weekend, swap stories and parts, and have a great time together. If you'd like to take a look at our show, click here.
Our friends and family are all interested in old iron, tractors, farm equipment and trucks. The ladies bring their quilts and sewing machines and lots of tasty food. Each show gets better as we make more friends. We have a tractor drive the day before the show, a wonderful raffle with prizes donated by our local friends, and lots of stories swapped around our fire ring at night. We meet twice a year, in the spring and in the fall. Y'all be sure to come and set a spell with us and meet the family. Click here for show dates and directions.
I also go to some of the shows at Florida Flywheelers Park. My favorite antique is some of my friends there -- hehe. No, really, I love antique tractors, especially Internationals. In Florida Flywheelers Village, there are two huge barns that only have International Harvester tractors on display, and an old style IH showroom like the 1950's. At the Flywheelers show they have plenty of other old iron, antique engines and vintage tractors at the Florida Flywheelers' Antique Engine Club Village . Most of the costumes the lovely ladies wear were made there on crafting machinery such as spinning wheels, looms, Singer Featherweights and foot treadle sewing machines. Besides old engines, they have old books for the one room school house where my friend the SchoolMarm has classes during the show. The School house also serves as Hatquarters for their Red Hat Society Chapter, The Foxy Flirts of Flywheeler Village. Want to see more? Just click any link you see below.
